Welcome to The Muswell Hill Practice
The Muswell Hill Practice is situated on Dukes Avenue in North London, serving the community around Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace.
We are part of The North Central London CCG and NW Haringey PCN.
The Muswell Hill Practice is open and seeing patients!
We will be triaging all patients by phone first*, before inviting you into the practice if the doctor thinks it is necessary.
* Please note that all calls to and from the practice are recorded for monitoring, training and quality purposes.
Covid vaccination - first dose
The primary care led vaccination sites are focusing on those cohorts of people based on age groups or if they are clinically vulnerable. Please do not call or write to us requesting that you be vaccinated ahead of others, we are working as fast as possible to contact all eligible patients in turn.
We are contacting eligible patients and offering appointments. Please make sure your contact numbers are up to date.
If you are not in one of these cohorts, you might be turned away.
The national vaccination centres may have more flexibility. Please click on the link for more information.
Thank you very much for your understanding and support during these difficult times.
Covid vaccination - second dose and other common queries
For those who haven't been invited for their second dose, please be aware that you will be contacted around 10 weeks after your first dose. If it hasn’t been 10 weeks since you had it, please wait to be contacted as we are not able to book anyone in before that time.
Vaccination centres follow government and local NHS authorities’ guidelines on what type of vaccines are offered to patients, therefore, choosing the type of vaccination is not possible.
The practice is not able to provide letters or certificates confirming an exemption for using masks.
If you need confirmation for your vaccines, please use the immunisations feature of the NHS App or dial 119.

Introducing Video Group Clinics
What are Video Group Clinics and why is the NHS supporting their roll out in primary care?
Video group clinics are a way for any of the clinical primary care team (including the network team of social prescribers or pharmacists) to see people with a similar health or social issue for example diabetes, asthma or high blood pressure. Group clinics can offer more time for people to talk about their concerns and learn how best to keep healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak. They can also be used for education/information sessions on health and social issues.
Before COVID-19, many GP practices were using group clinics to support and review people with long-term conditions. COVID-19 has seen most practices rapidly switching to remote consulting, including remote group consulting. It is thought that video group consultations will be able to deliver many of the benefits of face to face group consultations in a safe and convenient way for both patient and clinician.
The Muswell Hill Practice may offer you the opportunity to participate in a Video Group Clinic. Please see video for how VGC clinics are run and some of the benefits of this type of consultation.
